You’ll need a #2 phillips head screwdriver and a putty knife for this project. Begin by removing the four adjustment plugs located at the bottom of the door panels. With the door slightly open use a putty knife to raise the weight of the panel off the rollers. This allows the adjustment screw to be turned without damaging the screw. Use a #2 phillips head screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw clockwise to raise the panel, and counterclockwise to lower the panel. Adjust the door panels as desired. Now locate the active panel, compress the strike pen to activate the locking hardware. The locking hardware on the vent panel can be adjusted with a flathead screwdriver. Remember to unlock the hardware before testing the door for operation. If needed, make adjustments on the passive panel strike. Use a #2 phillips head screwdriver to loosen the three plate screws. Move the plate up or down as needed to align with the locking mechanism. Once aligned, tighten the center screw and slide the panels together to test the lock adjustments. When complete, tighten all of the screws. Finish by replacing the four adjustment plugs at the bottom of the panels.
