This video shows you instructions to identifying the Sales Order number on your Milgard windows.

If you call Milgard directly for service, the customer service representatives will ask you to provide the sales order number, or S.O. number, in order to identify your window in Milgard’s system and receive assistance with your Milgard windows.  In the top right or left corner of the glass in between the two panes on the metal spacer there will be a series of numbers. Usually five to eight digits, followed by a decimal and three digits.  You’ll need to have this number ready when speaking with a Milgard representative at 1-800-MILGARD or milgard.com.

In this video you’re shown how to maintain your Milgard sliding window including window cleaning and window care.  You should have a basic understanding of simple hand tools to undertake this project. Remember to wear eye protection and keep pets and small children out of the area when performing this process.

The tools required for this project include:

1. Putty knife
2. Pipe cleaner
3. A mallet and a soft block of wood
4. Non-abrasive cloth, soap, and water
5. Safety glasses
6. Gloves
