Fiberglass screening is constructed of vinyl-coated fiberglass yarns. Phiferglass is strong, long lasting and is not easily damaged, which makes it virtually the "carefree screening." Fiberglass screening is available in a choice of several meshes and colors. It is the original equipment on many windows.
Traditional wire insect screen provides the same insect protection as fiberglass mesh, but has its specific uses such as large insects, rodents or cats clawing at your screens. It does not rip as easily as fiberglass, however, it does dent if pushed in.
With SunTex Sunscreen installed, up to 80 - 90 % of the sun's heat and glare is reflected, absorbed and dissipated before it strikes the window.
